This policy explains what information we collect when you request a tile estimate, why we collect it, and who we share it with. It is written to be read, not skimmed past.
Information we collect
When you submit the estimate request form we collect the information you enter: your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, and the project details you provide, including any photos you attach.
We also record basic context about the submission — the page you submitted from, the page you first landed on, the referring website, and any campaign parameters in the link you followed. This helps us understand which pages are useful.
We do not ask for and do not want financial information, government identification numbers, or health information.
How we use it
- To review your request and determine whether it matches the work local professionals in our network handle.
- To share your project details with one or more independent tile professionals serving your area so they can follow up.
- To respond to inquiries and provide requested services.
- To communicate about estimates, appointments, scheduling and customer service.
- To operate the business and the services needed to support it.
- To maintain and improve the site, including understanding which content homeowners find useful.
We do not sell your information to data brokers, and we do not share it for unrelated advertising.
Who we share it with
The purpose of the form is to connect you with a tile professional, so submitting it means your project details are shared with one or more independent businesses that may contact you. Those businesses are separate from us and handle your information under their own practices.
We also use service providers to operate the site — hosting, database and storage, and email or messaging delivery. They process information on our behalf.
We may disclose information where required by law or to protect against fraud or abuse.
Phone and text message privacy
Providing a phone number does not automatically enroll you in marketing text messages. If you voluntarily check the service SMS consent box, Tallahassee Tile may send text messages regarding your inquiry, requested services, appointments, estimates, scheduling and related customer-service communications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving an estimate, purchasing a service or doing business with us.
Reply STOP to opt out of text messages or HELP for help. We do not currently offer a promotional text-message program, and entering a phone number or submitting the form does not provide marketing SMS consent.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except as necessary to provide the messaging service.
Cookies and analytics
The site may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working correctly and to measure aggregate traffic and page performance. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, though doing so may affect how parts of the site behave.
Retention and security
We keep submitted requests for as long as needed to handle the request and keep reasonable business records, then delete or anonymize them. Photos you upload are stored in private storage that is not publicly browsable.
We take reasonable steps to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices
- Ask what information we hold about your request.
- Ask us to correct it.
- Ask us to delete it and stop sharing it.
- Withdraw consent to be contacted.
To make any of these requests, reply to a message or email you have received from us and include the phone number or email address you submitted so we can locate the request. If you have not submitted a request, no additional privacy contact information is currently published on this site.
Children and updates
The site is intended for adults arranging work on property they own or manage. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
